Every sourdough baker needs a proper home for their starter, and this is the one we designed ourselves. We made a custom, straight-walled glass jar with a specially engineered lid that provides the perfect balance of ventilation and protection the starter needs to thrive. It also includes a rubber o-ring to mark pre-feed expansion levels, so bakers can see their starter rise and fall. You won’t get that with a mason jar and rubber band.
