A lover of the lavish and the leafy, he believes every shrub deserves a spotlight – and ideally, a wind machine. His greenhouse playlists are pure orchestral drama; and although his monogrammed watering can gets odd looks, he says the plants prefer it.

When not cultivating the world’s first daisy maze, Thistlepop can be found hosting moonlit garden parties for his friends. You’ll need a ticket – and sequins.
